Terms
Rowsend terms
Last updated 12 October 2026.
These terms are between you and Rowsend, based in India (“Rowsend”, “we”). They cover the Rowsend desktop app and Rowsend Cloud. By buying a license, or by using the app or Cloud, you agree to them. Questions: hello@rowsend.com.
You need to be at least 18, and if you use Rowsend for a company, you agree to these terms on its behalf.
Trial lengths, what a license and each Cloud plan include, prices and fair-use limits are on our pricing page. They’re part of these terms as they stand when you buy or renew.
The app
Trial. You can try Rowsend free for the trial period on our pricing page. After it ends, sending campaigns needs a license.
License. A license is a one-time purchase that lets you use Rowsend as described on our pricing page. Don’t share your license key or try to get around the trial or the license check.
Lifetime updates. A license includes every future version of the Rowsend desktop app for as long as we sell it. It doesn’t include Rowsend Cloud, which is a separate subscription, or any separate product we might make later.
Purchases. Dodo Payments sells licenses and Cloud subscriptions as merchant of record, so your purchase is with them and their terms apply to payment, taxes and invoices.
Refunds. The trial lets you try Rowsend before you buy, so license purchases are final and we don’t refund them, except where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund. A refunded license stops working, along with any Cloud time that came with it. Cloud subscriptions aren’t refunded for part of a period; when you cancel, Cloud keeps working until the period you paid for ends.
Rowsend Cloud
What it does. Cloud is an optional hosted service that handles the parts of sending that need a public address. Our pricing page and docs describe what it includes.
Plans. Cloud is a monthly or yearly subscription, renewed automatically until you cancel. A license may include some Cloud time, as our pricing page says. Cancelling stops renewal; Cloud keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. If we change Cloud’s price, we’ll email you at least 30 days before your next renewal at the new price.
Fair use. Each plan includes the fair-use limits on our pricing page. If you go over them, we’ll tell you, and if it keeps happening, we may pause new sends until the next month. Write to us if you need more.
When a plan ends. Cloud stops sending for you. Mail you’ve already sent keeps working for a while, and then we delete your Cloud data, as the privacy policy explains.
Availability. We aim to keep Cloud running, and post its status at status.rowsend.com, but we don’t promise it’ll never be down. If Cloud is unavailable, you can send another way.
Your email
You send email through your own email provider, to your own contacts. You’re responsible for:
- having permission to email the people you send to, and following the laws that apply to you, such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR and CASL;
- following your email provider’s terms;
- what your emails say, including any unsubscribe link or mailing address you choose to leave out.
Don’t use Rowsend to send spam, phishing, malware or anything illegal. We may suspend Cloud for accounts that do, or whose sending gets Cloud’s shared addresses blocked.
Your data
Your contacts, campaigns and credentials are yours. The privacy policy explains what Rowsend and Cloud store and for how long. You can delete your Cloud account at any time.
Warranty and liability
Rowsend is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including that Rowsend is fit for a particular purpose or free of errors.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Rowsend is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. We aren’t liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential damages, including problems caused by your email provider, your database or messages you send.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law where you live doesn’t let a contract take away.
Ending
You can stop using Rowsend whenever you like. We may end or suspend Cloud for an account that breaks these terms. If we ever stop offering Cloud, we’ll give at least 90 days’ notice and pro-rated refunds for paid time.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll post changes here and, for significant ones, email Cloud account holders before they take effect. If you keep using Rowsend after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If there’s a dispute, write to us first and we’ll try to sort it out. If we can’t, the courts of India have jurisdiction, though if you’re a consumer you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
