Mailgun

Before you start

1. In Mailgun, add your sending domain and finish its DNS setup until Mailgun shows it as verified. See From address and domain.
2. Note whether your account is in the US or EU region.
3. Create an API key under API Security.

Set it up in Rowsend

1. Open Project settings → Sending and choose Mailgun.
2. Fill in the from name, from email, Sending domain, Region and API key.
3. Click Save, then Verify. Rowsend checks that the key works and the domain is active in that region.

If Verify says there’s no such domain, try the other region.

Bounces and deliveries

Nothing to set up. While a campaign is sending and for 24 hours after, Rowsend reads Mailgun’s events once a minute. Hard bounces and complaints unsubscribe the contact from everything, and deliveries show on the campaign page. This works wherever the companion runs, including on your computer.
